Oh how he makes me laugh!

Yesterday in the car on our way home from picking up my bountiful basket Kiel and I had a little conversation. This is how it went.

Mom- When we went by Grandma's house did you notice to see if her car was home?
Kiel- no I didn't, but today is Saturday so she should be home, nobody works on Saturday's.
Mom- yes people work on Saturday's
Kiel-They do? ( with a total disgusted look on his face)
Mom- yah, stores are open on Saturday's
Kiel- stupid boss', they should not make people work on Saturday, I mean it is the WEEKEND isn't it?
mom-yah!
Kiel- well we get the weekend off from school, I am not going to grow up and work, that is just not right. You should have the weekend off to relax not to work. ( he is totally mad at this point and can not understand that people have to work on the weekends)

I was laughing at him the whole time, he was so funny from his facial expressions to his tone of voice. Funny Kid!

Kiel's Undefeated Basketball season........... Go mini firth-ites.....

What a season these boys have had! Here is Kiel dribbling against Shelley, bringing his team a win by 12 points with him having 6 points.

Here is Kiel's last game of the season, they have not lost yet this season in the Shelley league, and this whole game they were going back and forth. Blake told Kiel to just drive and shoot, and that is what Kiel did. He went to the free throw line a lot this game, bringing his team a win by 3 points. Kiel having 16 of the 25 points. AWESOME KIEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting the strategy plays down before the game.

Kiel's 11th birthday party.......................

Kiel again got spoiled just like every other year..........

He got money......... Madden 09'............ Cabela's hunting 10'............. Narnia 2 dvd...............and more money.............. I would have to say he had a good birthday :)

Kiel's 11th birthday party at Golden Corral, oh such yummy food! He brought Kelby Dye with him this year, and they had so much fun. Aren't they growing up fast? They already have facial hair!

Will someone TURN up the HEAT...................

Blake woke up this morning with icecicles in his nose and my eyes were frozen shut.

No not really, but it sure felt like it. Come to find out our stupid heater broke AGAIN. It seems that this stupid part breaks evey other year.

I am so glad I am married to a handy man, he went and picked up the part this morning and had it fixed before 10am today. The last 2 times it has broken has been either on a Holiday weekend or just a weekend, so we had to sit in front of space heaters and turn on the gas stove with fans blowing the heat out. Thankfully we don't have to do that this time.

So the heat is turned up and on, at least in the house it is.

1...2...3... BREATH............

WHAT a week it has
been! Parent teacher
conference was just
last week and boy was
it a good report.
Kiel is in the
5th grade
and doing awesome. He came
home with 4 A's, 2 B's
and 1 C. I am so proud of him, he is working
so hard. So far this year we have seen so
signs of his anxiety what-so-ever, YAH!
He is doing awesome with basketball only losing
1 game so far. Last week he played shelley "with
strep-throat" bringing his team a win by 12. He is
also the water boy for the 7th/8th grade boys
basketball team and LOVING IT!
Jordan brought home 5 A's, 1 B, and 1 C. I am
sooooo proud of him also. He is enjoying the 8th
grade and having fun. Starting off the week, he
played at Shelley. This game they doubled teamed
Jordan holding him to only 8 points, and they lost
by 7. Then on Thursday they played South Fremont
at home going into double-overtime we WON by 7.
What a game, Jordan had 17 points this game.
WOW!!!!

Between 2 boys playing basketball and Blake
coaching both teams I hardly see my boys all
week, but it is so much fun to see them
spending time together with something they
all enjoy.

My water boy and player! ha ha :)

And the fun has started.................

Well as you most know we live for Basketball season in our home. Kiel has started off the Jazz season with his dad as the coach. He had his 1st game last week with the stands full of Grandma-pa Chapman, Aunt Angie, Courtney and Nate, Uncle Troy and Lacey, cousin Kyra, Josh, karrissa and Chauncey. Gosh he had a cheering crowd for him, and Kiel loved every minute of it. He did awesome as guard and had 4 points. His team won my 12 points, what a game!

Jordan started his season this last Tuesday also with his dad being the assistant 7th and 8th grade boys Coach. Jordan plays on the 8th grade team. His game was against Shelley at home, Jordan had the 1st 7 points of the game, he was on fire the 1st guarter and then they started double teaming him, he ended up with 17 points though. He did awesome, although they lost by 7 i am sure they will win when they play at Shelley next Tuesday, hopefully!

They both had tons of fun and love to play the game, it is so much fun to watch both them grow and have fun.
